4th of July Fun

Even though I was very tired, Benny kept pestering me to go outside, so we did. It was a nice sunny and hot day and Benny had fun in his pool. He likes to dump the boat on his head. He really likes to eat ice.
Here he is trying to blow bubbles. He actually tries to eat them. He keeps practicing and a few days ago, he actually blew some bubble on his own.

The first thing he does when he goes outside to play, is to ask for his chalk. He likes to draw pictures. Everytime I ask him what he is drawing, he says it is daddy.

Benny's Easter Basket

Benny received many neat things from the Easter Bunny this year. This is the first year the Easter Bunny came to our house. Last year Benny was only 8 months old. Wow, has time flown!
Anyway, Benny received some coloring books because he just loves to color.
He has a little dump truck because he loves anything with wheels.

What a cute little bunny! Benny is holding sidewalk chalk. This is Benny's new favorite activity to do outside.

He also received a sippy cup with baby Elmo on it.
He also received some Little People by Fisher Price. He liked putting the dog and chicken in his little dump truck and then dumping them out.

Update!

Sorry I haven't updated this in awhile. We were on Vacation the last two weeks of March. We went to San Fransisco and I will post pictures and video of that adventure sometime this week. We had a lot of fun and I think the only one who was not stressed out or worn out was Benny. He discovered that he likes to chase pigeons.

Our little boy is trying to be more social. At least with the kids in our neighbor hood. The other day some kids were down by our house and Benny went up to them and said "hi" and then said something that was totally beyond understanding, but he said it like he was asking a question. The kids said "hi" back to him and then promptly ignored him. Benny came back to the street in front of our house and drew with his sidewalk chalk. (This is his new favorite thing to do. That and chase bubbles.) He didn't seem phased by it. My little boy is growing up.
