Happy Easter!

The week leading up to Easter was spent doing many Easter Egg hunts. We went to Brad's work for an egg hunt but do to some miscommunication, the kids missed the hunt but got to see where Daddy works. Good thing the Old Cannery Furniture store was having Easter activities. We went over there and the kids got to pet some animals, do an egg hunt, see trains and get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Then, the Saturday before Easter, we went to the Easter Egg Hunt that was put on by our church. It was held in our old neighborhood, so the kids got to see some friends.

Here is Benny picking up eggs.
Here he is with a full basket.
These are the only eggs Timmy was wanting to pick up.
Here is the picture with the Easter Bunny. This is actually a picture of the picture that was taken. Our scanner decided to quit working today.
The Old Cannery Furniture Store had this giant bunny as well.

Easter Egg Hunt

The church that we regularly attend hosts an Easter Egg Hunt. This is the fourth year that they have done it. It takes place at the park in our development. Benny was really excited and we had perfect weather. Once the whistle sounded, he was off and running.

This was Timmy's first Easter Egg Hunt and he didn't know what to make of it. He does not like sitting in the grass.
Here is Benny showing Timmy all the eggs he found.
Benny, Mommy and Timmy with all the eggs Benny found.
Once his basket was full, he came up to me telling me he was done. His basket was getting to heavy and he didn't want anymore eggs. He still got a lot of chocolate from those eggs.

Coloring Easter Eggs

This is the first time Benny has colored Easter eggs. I only did 4 eggs because he doesn't eat hard boiled eggs very often. When he does eat them, he only eats the white part and not the yolk.
Look at the pretty eggs.
By the end, Benny's hands were a lovely shade of orange-ish green.
Look what Benny is doing!

Where did the egg go?

I tried using the little egg dipper that came with the kit, but Benny started just playing with it.
