Out of the mouths of babes!

Benny told us the other day that he wanted a sister baby like Timmy. We are to name her Dodge. Where does he get these ideas?

Update! Update! Update!

We have been very busy the last few weeks as seen by all the posts I have done. Life is not boring here. Between trying to sell our house, potty training Benny and watching Timmy grow and explore, we have been having fun. We went up Mt. Rainier not once but twice in one week (thank you cousin Amy, it was fun). Now Benny asks to "go up the mountain" almost every day. Benny and Timmy's cousin Amy came for a visit. We are busy with church activities and play dates for Benny. Everyone here is somewhat healthy (just allergies). Enjoy all the pictures and videos.

Oh, Benny told me the other day that he wanted a Thomas the Tank Engine birthday party. He also wanted Gordon, Toby and Edward for this birthday. So, if anyone wants ideas for what to get him for his birthday, anything Thomas would work. We have the track masters system so more track would be helpful. Also puzzles and books would be good ideas for gifts as well.

Happy Baby

Here is our happy little Timmy!

Storage

Because we are selling our house, most of our stuff is in storage. We had to get some plastic totes last week and Brad had fun navigating the "stuff".

Weird Weather

We have had some weird spring weather. Last week a big black cloud dumped not only a lot of rain on us, but also a lot of hail. It came down hard for at least 5 to 10 minutes. When the cloud left us, we had about a half inch of hail on the deck. It looked like it had snowed. It melted with in an hour.

New Carseat

Benny has a new carseat. He has not really outgrown his other carseat, but it tested badly when used as a booster. He now has a Graco Nautilus and he loves it. Hopefully this one will last him until he doesn't need a carseat anymore. One more thing to hand down to Timmy.

Potty Time

The past two weeks Benny has shown more interest in using the potty. He will now sit on it without his diaper on. We have been rewarding him with Skittles and that seems to be working. So far, he has only peed once in his potty. He was very proud of himself.

Pictures of Timmy

Benny really likes being a big brother. He has asked many times to help feed and burp Timmy. He is very proud of himself when he can help with his baby brother. Timmy and Daddy time!

Brotherly love!

Speed Racer

Benny has mastered his tricycle.

Cousin Amy

During National Park Week, we had the privilege of having Benny and Timmy's cousin Amy visit us for a day. We took her up Mt. Rainier. It was a much sunnier day than earlier in the week when we went.

National Park Week

In honor of National Park Week, we took a day and visited Mt. Rainier National Park. Benny and Brad went on a hike while I fed Timmy. They saw some black tailed deer. Benny next to a very big log.

Once up at the top at Paradise, Benny had fun making and throwing snowballs.

Benny and Brad had fun making this snowman. The snowman is wearing Mommy's sunglasses.

Little boy butt crack. Like father like son.

The Many Faces of Benny

Benny has a Blues Clues video that deals with body language and feelings. Since watching it, Benny likes to play the game. Here is his "cold" face. And the feeling is "happy". Here is his happy face.

And the feeling is "sad". Here is his sad face.

More Pictures from the Fair

Baby Timmy hanging out. Junior Firefighter!

You want me to hold what?

Yeah! The up down horse! Benny's word for merry-go-round.

Spring Fair

Brad, Benny, Timmy and I had a great time at the Puyallup Spring Fair. It was a rare sunny day. We saw some little lambs.

Benny loved playing with these Legos. Especially since there were Thomas trains there.

Here he is making noises banging on some drums. Like the hat? He got that at the rainforest display. There was an inflatable slide/bouncy house that he got to go on and the hat was part of the admission fee.

Here he is looking a the big tortoise.
