Benny on Ice

Last Friday, a few of the kids on our street were selling K00l-aid. I bought a small glass for Benny, but he was more interested in the ice cube. When we got home, I sat in the back yard with him and gave him some more ice cubes. The pictures tell it all.

Do the Puyallup!

We had a great time at the fair this year. We spent 6 hours there. Benny had fun walking around. We found out that he has to be 2 years old to go on the rides as well as meet the height and weight restrictions. Oh well, there is always next year! Here are some pictures of the fair.
Benny liked looking at these baby chicks. He also liked looking at the horses in the horse barn.
Here he is trying to pet a goat. He was more interested in chasing them.
Benny and daddy at the pumpkin patch. They actually had seeds for these big pumpkins for sale but we didn't buy any.
There is one place I always like to stop and that is the woodcarvers display. This guy makes carvings using a chainsaw. They had this little ride on yak that was just the right size for Benny. We didn't buy it (this time).

Update

Sorry I haven't updated this in awhile. A lot has been going on. Brad had a few overtime shifts and I have been busy with work.

Most of you know that the "unofficial" word is that Seattle will let Brad go January of 2010. The last we heard is that Allentown has yet to respond to that offer. We may go earlier but we just don't know. We are planning for the January date for now.

Yesterday we went to the Puyallup Fair. Benny had a great time looking at all the farm animals. He wasn't too interested in petting them though. I hope to have pictures up this weekend.

Also, next week we fly to Chicago for a few days and then on to my parent's house. I am so looking forward to this trip. My parents haven't seen Benny since he was 2 months old. Well, that's all for now. I hear the little guy waking up from his nap and I have to get dinner started.
