Doctor Visit /Check up

On Tuesday (the 15th) Timmy had his 4 month checkup. He weighed in at 13lbs 9oz and measured 25 1/4 inches long. He is at the higher end of the scale on height and the lower end on weight. Overall he is a healthy and very active baby.

That is the good news. The bad news is that Benny has been having a fever since Monday (the 14th). The highest it registered was 103.9 (that was on Monday afternoon). He has had no other symptoms like runny nose or coughing. Dr. Hernandez checked him out and said that if he still had a fever on Friday that we should bring him back and they would do blood work. Thankfully, Benny has been responding to the Children's Motrin and as of this morning (the 17th) he does not have a fever. Here's hoping that Timmy doesn't get it.

Tummy Time

Brotherly Love

Foot rest

Benny has a thing about foot rests. As you can see from the picture below, he felt that he needed a foot rest and so did Timmy. We think he gets it from our sofas which have recliners built in to them. Here is Timmy and his foot rest.

Downstairs, Benny likes to use pillows as foot rests.

Fire Truck

The MOPS group (Mothers of Preschoolers) that I attend had a great treat for the kids at our last meeting. We contacted our local fire department and had them bring a fire truck for the kids to explore. Benny had a great time. He keeps expecting to see that fire truck everytime we go to church.

The Oregon Zoo

A couple weeks ago, Brad managed to get a Saturday off so we went to the Oregon Zoo (located near Portland). We had great weather and the boys had fun (Benny more that Timmy of course). Benny has been bugging us to go for a train ride and that was are primary reason to go to the zoo since they have a train ride. It was a long day, but worth it. No, this is not Benny's bike.
