2 month checkup

Timmy had his 2 month checkup today. His pediatrician was on vacation earlier this month so Timmy missed his 1 month checkup. Currently he is 10lbs 4oz and is 23 inches long. His head measured at 14 1/2 inches. He is growing like a weed! He had 3 booster shots today but handled it like a trooper. The only thing the doctor said was we need to do more tummy time. Timmy needs to practice holding up his head. Our next doctor appointment for Timmy is at four months (which puts it sometime in June).

On another note, Benny had his first real experience with throwing up. Monday morning he woke up not felling well. He tried to eat breakfast, but soon threw it up. He threw up a total of 3 times (not counting his bed). By late afternoon he was feeling better. He wanted to play trains.

Update!

Boy, we have had a busy week. On Wednesday, we took Benny to get his haircut and then to the mall to see the Easter Bunny. For the past 2 years the Easter Bunny has always been in the same spot in the mall. This year they decided to move it to the other end of the mall. As we were walking through the mall, Benny kept saying, "Easter, where are you?" It was SO cute. Timothy had a checkup that day for the abscess on his tushy. It is doing much better. He is taking antibiotics for it and it seems to be working. He is not coughing as much, so we think the bronchialitis is gone for now.

After the Easter pictures were taken, we went to Trackside Pizza in downtown Puyallup. It is located by the train tracks and Benny was very excited when a freight train came through. Next, we went to the SPCA in Tacoma to look at the cats and dogs. Benny did okay with the dogs until one of the dogs starting barking really loud.

Benny was unusually cranky on the way home and once we got home we found out why. He stood in the kitchen and proceeded to throw up. This is the first time he has actually been aware of throwing up. He has thrown up before but when he was an infant. That made the night even more interesting. He hasn't thrown up since, so we figured it was something he ate.

Life with two little boys can be exhausting, but I wouldn't change a thing.

Happy Easter!

A Day at Seaside, OR

Last week we took a day and went to Seaside, Oregon. We had a good time. Benny had fun riding this train. Benny liked the carousel until it started to move and then he had a tight grip on Daddy's coat.

Benny was excited about walking on the sand and seeing the ocean. He even found some shells (actually they were pieces of sanddollars). It sure was windy at the beach.
