Baby Timmy
Poor baby Timmy has had a bad cough for the past few days. We took him to the doctor on Wednesday and found out he has bronchialitis. That means the bronchial tubes in his lungs are irritated and filled with fluid. He coughs to try to loosen things up. He was tested for RSV and the flu but both tests came back negative (we were very relieved). There is nothing the doctor could give him since this is a viral infection not a bacterial infection. The doctor gave him a saline nebulizer treatment while we where there and his oxygen level rose so she suggested we put him in a steamy room as often as we can. Other than that, we have elevated his bed and have a humidifier on in the room he is sleeping in now. After of Easter, Benny gets moved into the spare room and Timmy gets the nursery. Brad is looking forward to possibly getting more sleep because Timmy is currently sleeping in a bassinet in our room. Please pray that Timmy gets over this quickly.

Grandma and Grandpa come to visit
Grandma and Grandpa Anderson came from Illinois to meet their new grandson. They had a lot of fun playing with Benny. Benny loved all the attention. We took a day to go to the Museum of Flight. Benny liked looking at all the airplanes with Grandpa.
Future fighter pilot?
Don't you like the matching shirts? Benny's shirt says "Future Massey-Harris Driver".
Benny really liked it when Grandma read stories to him.
Lisa's parents came out 2 days after Timmy was born. Brad and Benny picked them up at the airport, dropped them off at the house and then came to the hospital to bring Timmy and Lisa home. They were a big help during the time they were here. I know Benny really enjoyed having them here. He still asks for Papa to play trains with him.

Here are some of the latest pictures of Timmy and Benny. Enjoy!
I think Timmy is having second thoughts about joining our family. Brotherly Love!

Things have been getting somewhat back to normal around here. My parents were in town for the last 2 weeks. They left a few days ago. So far so good, but I have to say I am getting tired of breastfeeding a lot sooner than I expected. Between my low supply of milk and Timmy's issues with latching, I don't know how much longer I am willing to do it. I had met with a lactation consultant last Wednesday and was given some helpful tips on getting my supply up. I had some concerns about Timmy's tongue. It doesn't look to be tongue tied, but it is short and that is part of the latching problem. I have another appointment with the lactation consultant this Wednesday, so we will wait and see. So for now, I am still breastfeeding, but also supplementing with formula (just like I did with Benny).
