Hansome Benny

Brad must have taken these pictures when I was getting ready for church. What a hansome boy! He really likes going to church and playing with all the kids.

Big Boy Benny!

We bought this portable booster seat and I decided to have Benny try it out. Our chairs a bit low, but other wise it seems to work. Benny like eating at the big table. The only problem was that he was more interested in playing with his Sesame Street place mat than eating his grilled cheese sandwich. Oh, well!

Benny and his Tricycle

This is the first time Benny has had a chance to really play with his tricycle. Usually he just pushes it around. He surprised me today because he actually sat on it and "rode" it without me pushing him. He just might be able to reach the pedals by the time summer comes.

Benny Playing Outside

Here are some pictures of Benny playing outside today. His twelve month Mariners jacket seems to fit him well.

What you can't see in this picture is that Benny is standing in water. Our neighbors up the street were washing their cars and the run-off came in front of our house to the storm drain.

Benny had fun splashing in the water.

He really liked putting leaves down the storm drain.

He liked playing ball with one of the kids in the neighborhood.

He was really funny. He would climb on the deck (as seen in the following video) for a while and then go to the front to play with his trike (I have a video of this that I will post.)

A Nice (Early) Spring Day

We had a taste of spring today. It was sunny and warm (high 50's). Benny and I had fun outside. Benny has mastered the stairs on our deck. Enjoy the video.

Hardiness

Last week we had a last blast of winter. It snowed a few inches over night and then melted during the day and then snowed a little more overnight. Temps were down into the 20's at night. I do not remember what type of flower this is, but it seems to like the cold weather. This is one hardy plant.

Another update!

Whew! When did it get to be March so soon? And now we have to set our clocks back? Ahh! This year is going too fast!!!

Now that I got that out of my system, I will update you all on what is going on around here.

We have not heard anything about a change in Brad's job. The guy he might be replacing is not set to retire until May so we may not hear anything until closer to that time.

Benny is quite the funny guy lately. Tonight on the way home from work, I caught him trying to use his shoe as a phone. When we got home, he was watching his "Your Baby Can Read" video. There is a part in there when they are doing the "Head, Shoulder, Knees and Toes" song. Benny was sitting in his chair and trying to do the motions. He could pat his head and legs. Now they are doing the "If You're Happy and You Know It" song. He actually clapped along. What a smart boy.

He loves to color and draw. Unfortunately, he tried to color the refrigerator the other day. Good thing it is black.

He starting to ask for things. His way of doing this is to grunt and point, so it is a guessing game for us.

I hope to update his wish list. His birthday is only 4 months away!
